Many of our guests are visiting the local area for a few days to visit friends and relations, to attend weddings or local concerts or purely to explore a part of the country that they have not seen before.

For those looking for a quiet base from which to explore, then the Stable Yard is perfect for visiting the local area. We are based out in the countryside and there are lots of places to walk and explore right on the doorstep.          

There is a pub within walking distance and if you feel like a night off from  cooking there is a good selection of pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area. There are also several fast food delivery options if you prefer to eat in and not cook.

We have an arrangement with a local taxi company, so if you require transport then please ask for details.

We can arrange for you to have a riding lesson while you are here, or if you prefer to do something more relaxing then we have a beautician who visits us and can offer a full range of beauty treatments. Please pre-book if you require any of these services.

Many of our customers are visiting business people who are in the area either for a few nights or for an extended stay.

We are able to offer midweek accommodation for extended periods and special rates may be available for longer visits.

Business guests return to us because the standard of accommodation is equivalent to that in a quality hotel, with all linen, towels, bathrobes etc included.

We are able to offer additional services such as dry cleaning, a laundry service, shopping service or additional cleaning if required ( supplementary cost will apply). We can also pre-book taxis or transport if you require.

We have full broadband access allowing you to continue to work during the evening if you require.

There is an abundance of secure off road parking.

The apartment is your home throughout the duration of your stay and therefore the hours that you choose to arrive and depart are up to you, there is no night bell or landlady that you will be disturbing.

Anyone re-locating to the local area will know that there are very few options when it comes to interim accommodation. Renting property requires a 6 month commitment and includes council tax payments and utility bills, for a fixed period of time. Staying in a hotel can be impersonal and restricting for a long period of time.

The Stable Yard offers a flexible all-inclusive alternative, that allows you to extend or reduce your stay depending upon when you find more permanent accommodation. Centrally placed, it offers a good base from which to explore the local area to ensure that you make the right choice when you do find somewhere to re-locate to.
