Marston Vale Forest Centre is a lively conservation centre, set in the spectacular Millennium Country Park, just a few minutes drive away from The Stable Yard. The main park and visitors centre are open all year round and entry’s free! The Wetlands reserve has a ticketed charge in order to support maintaining this part of the site for wildlife.  With easy parking and trouble free access for everyone, the Forest Centre is a natural place for the all your family to come and explore…

Loads to do - Out in the Fresh Air

For walkers and cyclists, there's eight kilometers of traffic-free, surfaced footpaths and  cycle paths.  You can even rent a bicycle from the cycle hire centre.  A wildlife and sensory garden gives you the opportunity to get close to the magic of nature. Plants that excite the senses and through smell, sound or touch and the surfaced path through this area means that it is easily accessible for all.  Explore the beautiful wetland nature reserve on the  wetland trail and take a peek at the wealth of birdlife around you, from one of the specially located hides (adults £2.50, children/concessions £1.75).

Indoors Too

You can relax in the Lakeside Cafe; it’s full of light with a lovely view. Savour a good fresh coffee or a mellow glass of wine, with delicious fresh food prepared in our own kitchen. The Cafe is open from 10a.m. to 5 p.m. every day (6p.m. during British Summer Time).

Find out a little more about the local countryside and the story of the Marston Vale by taking a look at the exhibition material around the cafe.
