The Stable Yard Business and Holiday Apartments are close to Cranfield Airfield and Cranfield University, Stagsden for those visiting the Munro Hall Clinic, Flitwick for those visiting the Cerebral Palsy Physiotherapy Centre and the village of Wootton, where there are a selection of local shops, pubs and fast food delivery services.
Bedford is approximately 7 miles away and Milton Keynes approximately 12 miles. Milton Keynes is famous for its large Shopping Centre, the Milton Keynes Theatre, and the Xscape Centre, offering one of the largest indoor ski slopes in Europe.
The accommodation itself is located on a working arable farm with approximately 25 horses at livery. The farm is part of the Countryside Stewardship Scheme and therefore has 6m grass strips around the perimeter of all of the fields. There are many walks from your back door and many more in the local area.

If you are attending a concert at Milton Keynes Bowl, or an event at Woburn, or even if you just want to enjoy a weekend break in Bedfordshire then please give us a call. Places like Wimpole Hall, Cambridge and The Shuttleworth Collection, are all within easy reach.
Things to do during your stay!
Recreation
On your doorstep are many miles of country off road walks. Wood Farm and many neighbouring farms are part of the countryside stewardship scheme and have 6m grass tracks around the outside that can provide beautiful unspoiled walking during the spring summer and autumn months.
There are also miles of footpaths and Marston Vale and the Forest Centre are right on our doorstep, offering more established walking and cycling around the newly planted Marston Vale Millenium Park and Stewartby Lake and Watersports Centre.
Riding
Wood Farm has approximately 25 horses and ponies at livery and if you are interested in bringing your own horse on holiday then please call us to enquire about availability and prices. There are many miles of off-road riding and many events held locally, both in the form of both affiliated and un-affiliated competitions and sponsored rides and riding club activities. We are ideally situated between The College Equestrian Centre at Keysoe and Milton Keynes Eventing Centre.
Woburn Safari Park and House
We are approx 10 miles from Woburn and this beautiful market town offers a great range of restaurants and bistros together with shops and antique and craft fairs during the year. The house at Woburn and the Safari Park are again national attractions and offer something for everyone.
Woburn also plays host to many events during the year from concerts to fairs.
